ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.02.2021 by transferring the petitioner from higher secondary teacher Unathoor Government Higher Secondary School to any of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

nearer home schools Chokkanathapuram or Thandavarayapuram or Mallikarai.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has completed 5 years service in the same station and in respect of minimum service of one year in the existing station for General Transfer Counselling, the Government has amended the G.O.Ms.No.176, School Education Department dated 17.12.2021, vide G.O.Ms.No.15 School Education Department dated 10.02.2022.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition and hence, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. However,it is open to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned to include his name to participate in the counselling.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
