This Criminal Revision case is filed, seeking to set aside the judgment dated 16.08.2011 passed by the learned District and Sessions Judge,Nagapattinam in Crl.A.No.19 of 2008 confirming the judgment dated 28.02.2008 in S.T.C. No.3282 of 2006 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.1, Mayiladuthurai was convicting the petitioner herein under Section 138 read with 142 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentencing him to undergo one year simple imprisonment with fine of Rs.5,000/- in default to undergo simple imprisonment for one month out of the said fine amount the appellate Court below directed the accused has to pay a sum of Rs.2,500/- as compensation to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
complainant under Section 428 of Criminal Procedure Code. 2.
The learned counsel for the revision petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a Memo dated 19.09.2018 singed by the petitioner and his counsel, stating that with regard to the cheque amount of Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only), the petitioner is ready to pay the above said cheque amount within two months to the respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to pay the said cheque amount to the respondent, within the period of six weeks from today.

Recording the said memo this criminal revision case is disposed of and post the criminal revision case on 14.11.2018 "for reporting compliance" on that date of hearing, the petitioner is directed to produce the Demand Draft(s) for the above said cheque amount.
