By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner has passed S.S.L.C. during March 1995 and got his name registered in the District Employment Exchange at Vellore in Registration No.VLD1995M00006766 on 12.07.1995 The petitioner would claim that he belongs to Hindu Adi Dravidar Community and he submitted an application on 20.10.2016 praying for appointment as Village Assistant and he was also called for personal interview on 29.11.2016 by the office of the 2nd respondent along with documents. months had lapsed, he has not been communicated the result of the selection process. Therefore, prays for appropriate orders.

3. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the 2nd respondent along with a copy of this order as well a copy of the earlier representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 2nd respondent, on receipt of the said representation, is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a further period of four weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
