Respondent Contempt Petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondent for having wantonly and deliberately flouted and disobeyed the order dated 08.12.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.42743 of 2016.

ORDER

Mr.K.V.Dhanapalan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent would submit that the order, which is the subject matter of contempt, has been complied with vide G.O(D) No.982, dated 26.04.2017, passed by the Health and Family Welfare (IM 1-1) Department and the petitioner, on his regular promotion, was appointed as District Siddha Medical Officer, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil,

M.SATHYANARAYANAN,J ., sk in the existing vacancy. He has also produced a copy of the same before this Court which is taken on file and recorded. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has attained age of superannuation on 30.04.2017 and he would have retired.

In the light of the above proceedings, this Court is of the view that the order has been fully complied with. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed.
