ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to respondents 1 to 4 not to provide electricity service connection in favour of the fifth respondent in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.80/7C at Thatchampattu Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District. 2.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that already electricity service connection stands in the name of the fifth respondent. The fifth respondent died. The third and fourth respondents issued notice to the legal heirs of the fifth respondent in order to transfer the electricity service connection in their name. 3.

Therefore, if at all any objection is raised by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the legal heirs of the fifth respondent while 2/4

transferring the electricity service connection in their name in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.80/7C at Thatchampattu Village, Gingee Taluk, Villupuram District and, after giving opportunity of hearing to them, to pass orders in accordance with law. 4.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
