Mr.Pradeep Raja, learned counsel on behalf of Mr.Veerasekaran, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondent and is armed with instructions to enable a final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the sole respondent, Executive Engineer and Administrative Officer, Coimbatore Housing Unit, a unit of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board, to dispose representation dated 19.10.2022.

3. Mr.Pradeep points out fairly that the representation, which is placed on page 80 of the typed set accompanying the Writ Petition, has been acknowledged by the respondent.

4. In such circumstances and seeing as the same has been hanging fire for more than 1 1/2 years, mandamus is issued to the respondent to hear the petitioner and dispose representation dated 19.10.2022 in accordance with law and all applicable rules and regulations, within a period of four (4) weeks from today.

5. To be noted that the factual averments contained in the Writ Petition are consciously not referred to in this order as it is expected that the authority will apply his mind to the same.
