ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 8 (c) & 20(b)(ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Crime No.963 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. This petitioner is an absconding accused in Crime No.963 of 2020, wherein, the prosecution has recovered 1.200 kgs of ganja. The investigation has indicated that this petitioner has supplied the contraband seized to the other accused and this accused is already having nearly 11 cases of similar nature.
3. Taking note of the antecedent of the petitioner herein, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner, since the grant of anticipatory bail will lead to reoccurrence of similar crime and also abscondence. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
