This contempt petition is filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 03.08.2016 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P. No.16738 of 2016. http://www.judis.nic.in

cad Today, Mr. D. Rajangam, Inspector of Police, Thazambur Police Station, Kancheepuram District, (formerly, Inspector of Police, SIPCOT Police Station, Ranipet Circle) is present.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the police have complied with the order, aggrieved by the non compliance of which, this contempt petition is filed, inasmuch as, they have completed the investigation in Cr. No.388 of 2015 and closed the case as "mistake of fact". A copy of the closure report, along with RCS notice, has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the Bar. In view of the above, this contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. 07.08.2017 cad Cont.
