O R D E R
The petitioner was arrested on 29.01.2019 for the offence punishable under sections 147, 148, 324 and 307 IPC in Crime No.32 of 2019, by the respondent Police.
2.The petitioner has filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.3363 of 2019, before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, seeking bail and the learned judge granted bail by an order dated 22.02.2019 on certain conditions. One among the condition is that "the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties, one surety must be a Government Servant, each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai." 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has difficulty in getting Government Servant surety. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition. 4.Heard both sides.
5.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the above condition alone is modified to the effect that "the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai."
All other conditions imposed in Crl.M.P.No.3363 of 2019 shall remain unaltered.
