O R D E R

Mr.T.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 29.09.2023 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent on 29.09.2023, seeking to survey and sub-divide the subject properties and issue Patta in favour of the petitioner and her son Natesan. Since there was no response from the respondents till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that as per the prevailing practice the petitioner has to Pg.Nos.2/5

make an application through online by paying requisite fees vide E-challan, if the application is otherwise in order, token would be issued through online. However, the petitioner herein has not made the application through online. The learned Additional Government Pleader further submitted that if the petitioner submits an application through online by paying requisite fees, the same would be considered by the respondents.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to submit an application through online, by paying requisite fees through E-challan, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the application and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as rival claimants/interested parties/aggrieved parties if any, as the case may be, within the stipulated time as stated in Circular No.R1/2005632/2022, dated 17.07.2023 issued by the Commissioner of Pg.Nos.3/5

Land Administration from the date of receipt of the online application.
