Mr.M.S.Palanisamy, Standing Counsel - - - - - COMMON ORDER The writ petitions have been filed by the petitioners praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to include the petitioners' nominations dated 26.03.2018 received by the second respondent in the list of eligible candidates and to conduct election for the Board of Directors of second respondent Society, without rejecting the petitioners' nomination.

2. Mr.R.Neelakandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that election to the second respondent Cooperative Societies viz., Z.204, Vedaranyam Salt Employees Cooperative Production and Sales Society Ltd., and Z.181, Pannal Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society, has been cancelled by the Election Commission on 06.04.2018.

3. In view of the cancellation of election to the said Cooperative Societies, the prayer in the writ petitions has become infructuous. Therefore, both the writ petitions are dismissed. No costs. The connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
