Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue a legal heirship certificate to the petitioner based on her online application No.72018066291058 dated 29.06.2018 and representation dated 26.02.2019. Mr.E.Balamurugan Special Government Pleader O R D E R Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to issue a Legal Heirship Certificate to the petitioner, based on her on-line application dated 29.06.2018, followed by representation dated 26.02.2019.

3. Today, when the writ petition is taken up for admission, the learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents, submitted that already the second respondent has rejected the application of the petitioner on the reason that the deceased left his first wife, which claim is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. If that be the case, it is for the petitioner to challenge the said order in the manner known to law. Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner or the respondents, only with a direction to the second respondent to communicate the order of rejection to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
