Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to transfer patta in respect of the land measuring an extent of acres 2.50 cents in S.No.584/7, 582/7 of Magimandalam Village, Katpadi Taluk to the petitioner's name based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.02.2019. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to transfer patta in her favour in respect of the land measuring an extent of acres 2.50 cents in S.No.584/7, 582/7 of Magimandalam Village, Katpadi Taluk, based on her representation dated 20.02.2019.
3. It is stated that the petitioner had purchased the above said property from one S.Murali by way of a registered sale deed vide Document No.8333/2013 dated 07.12.2012. It is further stated that the petitioner gave an application dated 10.01.2019 seeking to mutate the Revenue records in her favour. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation dated 26.02.2019, requesting https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the second respondent to transfer patta in her name. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said request has not been considered by the respondents so far.

This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.02.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
