PRAYER : Criminal Revision Petition filed under Section 397 r/w 401 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to setaside the order dated 08.11.2018 passed by the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai in M.P.No.2807/2018 and further direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 17.12.2017.

ORDER

This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed by the petitioner to setaside the order dated 08.11.2018 passed by the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai in M.P.No.2807/2018 and further direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 17.12.2017.

2. The petitioner has filed the complaint before the respondent police and the respondent police closed the complaint and filed the report. The learned Magistrate closed the M.P for non-appearance of the complainant on receipt of the report and closed the petition. Challenging the said order now she has filed this Revision Petition.

3. The petition has been closed on the ground of nonappearance of the petitioner on the basis of the complaint and receipt of the report from the police. Therefore no revision would lie. Hence the Revision Petition is dismissed as not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

maintainable. The petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
