ORDER

This petition has been filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.18968 of 2015 on 24.08.2015.

2. Today, Mr.S.Mariamuthu, Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Salem City, is present before this Court.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that the order dated 24.08.2015 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.18968 of 2015 has been complied with and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ a regular FIR has been registered in Cr.No.11 of 2016 for offence under Sections 420 and 506(i) IPC.

4. Recording the same, this contempt petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to proceed with the investigation in Cr.No.11 of 2016 in a fair manner and file either closure report or a Final Report, as the case may be, expeditiously.
