..Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the entire records, relating to the petitioner's daughter's detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 01.02.2017 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings Memo C.No. 08/G/IS/2017, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's daughter namely K.Radhika @ Divya, W/o. Karthick, aged 31 years before this Hon'ble High Court and set the petitioner's daughter at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's daughter detained at Special Prison for Women, Coimbatore.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.V. MURALIDARAN, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in Memo C.No. 08/G/IS/2017 dated 01.02.2017, whereby the detenue, namely, K.Radhika @ Divya, W/o. Karthick, aged about 31 years, was ordered to be detained as a GOONDA as contemplated under 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner's daughter dated 01.02.2017 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.1368, HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (XII) DEPARTMENT, dated 20.03.2017 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
