Mr.T.Arun Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent. With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioners' representation dated 23.01.2024, in and by which, the petitioners sought for updating their land details in the Taluk website in respect of lands measuring to an extent of 1 acre comprised in Survey No.900, Town Survey No.12/142, Ward - C, Block No.50, 4050 sq.mt situated at Hosur Village, Hosur Town and Taluk, Krishnagiri District, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

3. The main grievance of the petitioners is that even though they have given a representation dated 23.01.2024, till date, the same has not been considered by the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent submitted that the said representation dated 23.01.2024 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

6. Since this writ petition is only for a mandamus, to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 23.01.2024, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the said representation dated 23.01.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as interested parties/rival claimants/objectors/aggrieved parties, if any, if the application is not disposed of already. Such exercise shall be completed within the stipulated time as stated in Circular No.R1/2005632/2022, dated 17.07.2023 issued by the Commissioner of Land Administration.

7. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. W.M.P.No.8453 of 2024, is ordered on payment of separate Court fees, by Pg.Nos.3/5
