This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.12.2024 to withhold the GPF amount and pensionary benefits payable to the 2nd respondent, pending final adjudication in Crime No.583/2002 under Section 408 and 420 pending before the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner by conducting enquiry, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the second respondent, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
