This petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein permitting the petitioner to conduct cultural folk dance program on 11.04.2018 at "Sri Kochchai Mariamman Temple Thidal Kanakurichi Village" by providing necessary police protection.

2. The petitioner had given a representation dated 28.03.2018 to the respondent police for conducting cultural activities in the local temple. It is for the Police to take a decision depending upon the law and order situation and this Court cannot give a direction to the police as prayed for by the petitioner. Hence, this petition is closed.
