ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 17.2.2016, in W.P.No.5739 of 2016, directed the respondent herein to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 4.6.2015 and 21.7.2015 and after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and necessary parties, including the fourth and fifth respondent therein, dispose of the said representations on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ a copy of that order. Alleging that the said order has not

been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that as per the direction of this Court, the respondent herein has passed an order dated 20.8.2016 on the representations of the petitioner, by rejecting the same.

3. Since the respondent has passed an order on the representations of the petitioner, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition and hence, the contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the order passed by the respondent, she is at liberty to challenge the same in a manner known to law, if she is so advised.
