This Writ Petition is filed to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to remove the CCTV camera installed in front of petitioner house bearing door No.2/17, Kallupalayathar Thotham, Aramathapalayam, Southapuram, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District and protect the right of privacy and personal liberty of the petitioner and his family members.
2. The petitioner herein is the brother of the respondents, being aggrieved by installation of CCTV camera in front of his premises, the petitioner is before this Court seeking direction to remove the CCTV camera.
3. The Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that it is a common property and there is a dispute over the property and therefore, his brother should not install the CCTV camera.

4. From perusal of the record this Court finds that earlier his brother came before this Court seeking permission and police protection for installing CCTV camera and this Court directed the police to give adequate protection to install the CCTV camera in accordance with law.
5. The Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that by installing CCTV camera the privacy of the petitioner is affected. This Court is unable to countenance such argument since the CCTV camera is not installed inside the house of the petitioner or within the portion enjoyed by the petitioner. The CCTV camera is installed only in the portion of the respondent brother for his security and safety.
6. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
