This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.10.2013 requesting for inclusion of her name in the promotion panel of Assistant Director of Local Fund Audit for 2012-2013 and to promote her as Assistant Director of Local Fund Audit as per her seniority.

2.The learned counsel for the second respondent has submitted that a detailed counter affidavit has already been filed, stating that on account of currency of punishment during the panel year, the petitioner was not considered for promotion. He further submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 18.10.2013 will be considered and answered.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the records.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and on perusal of the entire records available on record, there shall be a 2/4

direction to the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.10.2013 and to dispose of the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
