Captioned application has been taken out by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) with a prayer to extend time for depositing Rs.35 lakhs (50% of award amount qua 09.03.2022 order made in Arb.O.P. (Com.Div.) No.35 of 2022 and A.No.376 of 2022).

2. Today Mr.S.Aravindan, learned counsel of M/s.Fox Mandal and Associates (Law Firm) who is before this Court adverting to the support affidavit submits that there was a delay in taking the demand draft owing to some internal procedural delays such as Board Resolution etc., It may not be necessary to dilate further on this as learned counsel has produced the demand draft and a scanned reproduction of which is as follows:

3. Therefore, the prayer for time extension is acceded to and the applicant (TNHB) shall now deposit this demand draft (pursuant to 09.03.2022 order made in Arb.O.P. (Com.Div.) No.35 of 2022 and A.No.376 of 2022) within one week from today i.e., on or before 13.04.2022.

4. Captioned application is ordered as above. There shall be no order as to costs.
