ORDER
The Revision challenges the conditional order passed by the learned Appellate Court in C.A.No.77 of 2025 imposing a cost of Rs.25,000/- to set aside the order passed by the learned Magistrate dismissing the petitioner's complaint.
2.It is seen from the order passed by the learned Magistrate that after the learned Magistrate declined to entertain the prayer for interim orders, the petitioner had sought 13 adjournments and failed to appear before the learned Magistrate. The learned Magistrate has also explained the conduct of the petitioner in delaying the proceedings. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the Appellate Court was justified in imposing the cost and there is no reason to interfere with the said order.
3.Accordingly, the Revision is dismissed. The petitioner is directed to pay the cost of Rs.25,000/- before the District Legal Services Authority, Tiruppur within a period of two weeks from today, failing which, the Crl.A.No.77 of 2025 before the appellate court shall stand dismissed. 24-02-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order TSG
