ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 296(b), 115(2), 132, 351(3) of BNS, in Crime No.53 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The present application has been filed by the second accused in Crime No.53 of 2026. According to the prosecution, the petitioner intimidated the police officials and also obstructed them from discharging their official duties.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) further submitted that the petitioner has two previous cases and that the co-accused is a historysheeter. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. In such view of the factual position, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 05-03-2026 cda
