(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Heard Mr.K.Doraisami, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners; Mr.B.Rabu Manohar, learned Senior Central Government Standing Counsel for the first respondent; Mr.R.Rajesh Vivekananthan, learned Deputy Solicitor-General for the second respondent and Mr.R.Imayavaramban, learned counsel appearing on behalf of M/s.Ramalingam Associates for respondents 7 and 8.

2. These petitions have been filed by the petitioners to direct the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai-32 to register the admission of the students admitted in the petitioner institutions and permit them to write their first year BHMS Examination to be held from 13.03.2023 onwards pending disposal of the writ petitions.

3. It is apposite to mention that in our earlier order dated

27.02.2023 passed in W.M.P.Nos.33526 and 33527 of 2022 in W.P.Nos.11129 and 11130 of 2022, we made it clear that the admissions made by the petitioner institutions are subject to the result of the writ petitions.

4. In view of the above, respondents 7 and 8, namely the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and the Controller of Examinations, the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai32, are directed to register the admission of the students admitted in the petitioner institutions (as per the lists enclosed by them) and permit them to write their first year BHMS Examination to be held from 13.03.2023 onwards, which shall however be subject to the result of the writ petitions.

5. W.M.P.Nos.7769 and 7778 of 2023 in W.P.Nos.11129 and 11130 of 2022 are allowed to the extent indicated above. (T.R., ACJ.) (D.B.C.,J.) 09.03.2023 Note to Registry:
