ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR,J.) The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, states that the order of this Court has been complied with in letter and spirit even on 07.03.2024 by removing encroachment. It is represented that no more encroachment is there. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is unable to confirm whether the encroachment is removed or not.

2. This Court finds that the matter need not be kept pending unnecessarily. Therefore, the contempt petition is closed by recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate for the respondents that the

order has been complied with in letter and spirit. In case the encroachment is not removed pursuant to the direction, this Court permits the petitioner to seek for re-opening the case.
