Respondent This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated pursuant to the charge memo dated 2.3.2016 bearing Na.Ka. No.Pa.Aa1/1414/2016 of the respondent herein.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to conclude the enquiry and pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the writ petitioner under charge memo dated 2.3.2016.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner contended that the writ petitioner is due to retire from service on 31.12.2017 on her attaining the age of superannuation. However, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the writ petitioner and the writ petitioner also submitted her explanations, denying the charges. An Enquiry Officer was appointed and the writ petitioner participated in the enquiry and the Enquiry Officer has completed the enquiry and yet to submit his Final Report.

3. In this view of the matter, the respondent is directed to complete the disciplinary proceedings in all respects and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
