Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus (a) directing the learned Mahila Court, Chennai to dispose of the Petitioner's protest petition filed in S.C.No.357 of 2017 on the file of the learned Mahila Court, Chennai within 3 months as fixed by this Court (b) directing the 1st respondent to ensure and provide appropriate security to the petitioner while he is in Chennai to attend the Court proceedings in S.C.No.357 of 2017 on the file of the learned Mahila Court, Chennai.

O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to (a) directing the learned Mahila Court, Chennai to dispose of the Petitioner's protest petition filed in S.C.No.357 of 2017 on the file of the learned Mahila Court, Chennai within 3 months or as fixed by this Court (b) directing the 1st respondent to ensure and provide appropriate security to the petitioner while he is in Chennai to attend the Court proceedings in S.C.No.357 of 2017 on the file of the learned Mahila Court, Chennai.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the protest petition filed by the petitioner in S.C.No.357 of 2017 on the file of the Mahila Court, Chennai has been dismissed by an order dated 27.03.2018. The petitioner is an accused in S.C.No.357 of 2017.
3. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, there is any threat from any person, the petitioner is at liberty to lodge a complaint before the trial Court. On receipt of the same, the trial Court is directed to consider the same and take appropriate action as against the person(s) who threatens the petitioner.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
