ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.) Petitioner, husband of detenue Anbarasi, aged about 21 years, has filed the present petition to cause production of his wife, who is said to be in the illegal custody of 3rd respondent, before this Court and to set her at liberty.

Heard learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.Radhakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for 3rd respondent.

It is brought to notice that detenue Anbarasi is no more and an enquiry u/s.174 Cr.P.C. is pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that according to the petitioner, the petitioner's wife has not committed suicide and she was subjected to homicidal violence [honour killing].

In the circumstances, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed.
