ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent-police to register a case on the complaint dated 15.03.2016 given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaint dated 15.03.2016, it is seen that the petitioner and her sister Karpagam are living together, and their brother Rajendran is frequently coming and causing trouble, asking partition in the property.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted and closed by the respondent-Police on 28.05.2016.

5. In a petition of this nature, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent-police to register an FIR. Further, if there is any further threat from the said Rajendran, it is open to the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint giving full details.

With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
