This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent to pay a sum of Rs.91,320/- towards arrears of salary and other allowances at the rate of 18% interest.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Ms.C.Sangamithirai, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents one and two and Mr.V.Jayapraksh Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for third respondent are present. 4.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the respondent three that the petitioner is entitled to get Rs.25,550/- towards arrears of salary and not Rs.91,320/- as claimed by the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.25,550/-, already on 20.05.2012 and now, the petitioner is entitled to receive the arrears amount of Rs.2,256. Page No.2 of 4
