This petition has been filed to call for the records, pertaining to the FIR in crime No.255 of 2023, pending on the file of the Asst. Commissioner of Police, EDF - III, Central Crime Branch, Vepery, Chennai and quash the same. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that during the pendency of this petition, the first respondent had completed the investigation and filed a final report in C.C.No.3493 of 2024 and it is pending for trial in CCB Egmore, Chennai.

4.Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
