The above petitions have been filed to extend the time granted by this court and also modify the condition imposed on the petitioner to report before the respondent police on alternative days at 10.30 a.m. for a period of twelve weeks in the above Crl.O.P.No.2618 of 2023 dated 07.02.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is duly complying the condition imposed on him by this Court to appear before the respondent police on alternative days at 10.30 a.m. for the period of twelve seeks. However, he would submit that the petitioner is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Engineering in Karpagam Academy of Higher Education and the working hours of the college is from 08.30 a.m. to 04.30 p.m., and hence, he finds very difficult to sign alternative days at 10.30 a.m. Therefore, he has filed this petition to modify the condition. 1/3

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that so far, the petitioner has complied the condition imposed by this court for 10 days.

4. Considering the above submission, the condition to report before the respondent police is modified to that effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on every Tuesday and Sunday at 05.30 p.m. for the period of eight weeks.

5. Except the above modification, the other conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P. No. 2618 of 2023 vide order dated 07.02.2023 shall remain unalterted.

6. Time is extended for further period of two weeks for execution of sureties from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 17.03.2023 rpp 2/3
