ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register an FIR on the complaint dated 06.06.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. No representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that earlier this petitioner has given a complaint, based on which, petition enquiry was conducted by the respondent Police, and the same was closed on 04.06.2016, on the ground that the petitioner had withdrawn the complaint, with liberty to give a fresh complaint. It appears that the petitioner sent a fresh complaint dated 06.06.2016 by post.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to appear in person before the respondent police along with this order and lodge a fresh complaint, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous complaint dated 06.06.2016. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.
