O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tambaram, to take on record the complaint dated 20.08.2020 and 07.01.2021 filed by the petitioner under Section 190(1) (a) r/w Section 156 (3) and consequently direct the respondents to register a complaint.

2. The petitioner has filed a petition before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tambaram under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent herein to register his complaints dated 20.08.2020 and 07.01.2021. The said complaint was returned by the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Tambaram for the reason that the offences mentioned in the complaints are relating to Cyber Crime and hence they have no jurisdiction to entertain the petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the offence mentioned in the complaint are relating to Cyber Crime, and the High Court has formed a Special Court to deal with the cases of this nature.

4. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to re-present the petition before the jurisdictional Court, for the exclusive trial of CBCID cases, Egmore, Chennai. Thereafter, the concerned Court shall pass appropriate orders on the petition, on merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
