ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the second respondent against the petitioner, a case in Crime No.6 of 2026 was registered on 11.03.2026 for the offences under Sections 332, 316(2) and 69 of BNS, 2023 and that the petitioner was called only for enquiry and was not harassed during the enquiry. 3.

Since First Information Report was registered against the petitioner/accused, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Pursuant to the registration of FIR, the first respondent police calling the petitioner for enquiry cannot be termed as harassment.
