Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of Market Committee Secretary based on the panel for the year 2012-2013 in relaxation of service qualification by considering the proposal forwarded by Secretary Erode Market Committee in Na.Ka. No.A1/11558/2013, dated 23.05.2014 and the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 01.03.2015 with all consequential and other attendant benefits within a stipulated time.

ORDER
Mr.S.Subburaman, who was appointed as Junior Assistant in the Erode Marketing Committee on 04.12.1986 and got promotion as Supervisor on 08.07.2002 and further promoted as Superintendent of Market on 01.04.2010, has given a representation to the respondents on 01.03.2015 seeking the benefit of relaxation of service qualification for considering the proposal forwarded by the Secretary Erode Market Committee, dated 23.05.2014. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.As the said recommendation was not considered on par with the similarly placed persons namely, Mr.Chandrasekaran and R.Seralathan, working as Superintendent of Market, the petitioner has sought for a direction to consider the representation, in the light of the proposal dated 23.05.2014 made by the Secretary Erode Market Committee. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.
4.Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.03.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
