O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 23.10.2024 wherein the request made by the petitioner for cancellation of patta issued in the name of S.C.Subramaniam and the sixth respondent was rejected by the third respondent.

2. Heard Mr.R.Rajarajan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction 2/4

to the second respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 23.10.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the respondents 5 and 6 and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
