This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 23.02.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for rectification/correction of the extent of property that has been mentioned in the patta issued in favour of respondents 2 to 5 and to grant patta in favour of the petitioner by indicating the correct extent with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.S.Gowsik Sundar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for first respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he is claiming title over the property by virtue of a settlement deed dated 26.05.2020. The grievance of the petitioner is that patta has been issued in favour of the private 2/4
