ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct a Music Orchestra with Dance on 25.03.2020 in Arulmigu Sri Muthumariyamman Koil situated at Odiyanthal, Village, Kadambur (Post), Sangarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District - 605 802, based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2020, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent drew the attention of this Court to Clause-14 of the order passed by the Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O.(Ms.)No.347, Public Health and Welfare Department dated 16.03.2020, wherein it is stated that permissions should not be granted to conduct processions, meetings, summer classes, camps, business exhibitions, games and any other similar types of programmes involving large number of people till 31.03.2020. Pointing out to the same, she submitted that the petitioner is not entitled to seek the relief as prayed for in this Criminal Original Petition.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has also accepted the same and made an endorsement in the case bundle that he may be permitted to withdraw this Criminal Original Petition.

4.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
