C.M.P.No.5910 of 2022 in C.M.A.SR.No.31509 of 2022 P.T.ASHA, J., This petition is filed to condone the delay of 773 days in filing the above civil miscellaneous appeal in C.M.A.SR.No.31509 of 2022 against the order in M.C.O.P.No.1822 of 2018 dated 21.08.2019 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Special District Judge, Salem.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/appellants.

3.Today, Mr.P.Srinivasan, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent has filed counter.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is allowed and the delay of 773 days in filing the above appeal in C.M.A.SR.No.31509 of 2022 is condoned.

5.The appellants/claimants will not be entitled to claim interest for the period of 773 days.
