ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2 nd and 3 rd respondents to deal with the online application submitted by the petitioner on 09.09.2024, wherein, the petitioner has sought for the survey of the subject property for demarcation of boundaries. 2.Heard Mr.S.Gopi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.The petitioner claims right and title over the subject property by virtue of a Sale Deed dated 05.06.2006, whereby, the petitioner and his wife

3/6 purchased the property. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the joint patta that was granted in the name of the petitioner and his wife in Patta No.1025. The petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property for demarcation of boundaries. Hence, an online application was submitted on 09.09.2024. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd and rd respondents to act upon the online application dated 09.09.2024 and the survey shall be conducted in line with the title document and the joint patta that has already been issued in the name of the petitioner and his wife and this process shall be completed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there are any rival claimants, such survey shall be conducted in the presence of the rival parties.
