ORDER

(By S.Vaidyanathan,J.) When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner.

2. Petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying to direct third respondent to consider his representation, dated 03.03.2020, and pass orders with regard to the encroachments.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, and Mr.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the official respondents, submit that the respondents would ensure that all the encroachments are removed.

4. From the letters issued by the Executive Officer, dated 02.01.2024, and the Tahsildar, dated 15.12.2023, it is seen that the land in question belongs to the temple and the same has been encroached. Enclosure of the said letter is scanned below:

5. In view of the above, the respondent authorities are directed to remove the encroachments in the temple land, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 03.032020, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of this order.
