ORDER
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a
direction to the first respondent, The Commissioner, Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry to consider the representation given by the petitioner on 31.07.2024.
2. In the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, it had been stated that the petitioner is working as Sanitary Inspector Grade II in the first respondent, Municipality on and from 03.12.1999. The grade pay has been revised from time to time.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is entitled for various allowances like petrol allowance and two wheeler allowance. He had availed the said allowances. He sought promotion to the post of Controller/Sanitary Officer and had filed W.P.No.27206 of 2012. A direction had been issued to consider the case of the petitioner by an order dated 29.11.2023. He also filed yet another Writ Petition in W.P.No.35879 of 2015 questioning the notification calling for recruitment to the post of Sanitation Officer. That writ petition was also disposed of on 07.11.2024. The petitioner claims that the petitioner has several grievances which he had facing during the course of service. He had now given a representation on 31.07.2024 seeking risk allowance/patient care allowance, allotment of vehicle and fuel allowance. He claims that these facilities are granted by other State
Governments/Union Territories. But the petitioner is employed only under the first respondent and not under any other State Government or by any other Union Territory.

At any rate, let the respondents examine the representation given by the petitioner and verify the applicability to the terms of service under which the petitioner was initially appointed under the first respondent and pass appropriate orders. Such exercise should be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
