ORDER
The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the District Munsif Court at Sriperumbudur to dispose of I.A.No.2 of 2023 in O.S.No.243 of 2017 within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/4
2. In view of the limited prayer made in this revision, this Court is inclined to dispose of the civil revision petition, even without notice to the respondent.
3. The respondent herein filed a suit for declaration that sale deed dated 23.12.2005 executed by 1st defendant in favour of 2nd defendant was null and void and for other reliefs.
4. The petitioner herein was arrayed as 2nd defendant in the suit and he filed a petition to reject the plaint in I.A.No.2 of 2023 and the same is pending disposal.
5. A perusal of e-court status furnished in the typed-set of papers would suggest the arguments of both sides in I.A.No.2 of 2023 was heard on 01.12.2023 and the matter was adjourned to 09.01.2024 for orders. Thereafter, a new counsel entered appearance for respondent and hence, at his request, the matter was adjourned to 29.01.2024. Till date, the matter is adjourned at request of the respondent without any progress. In such 2/4
circumstances, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the District Munsif Court, Sriperumbudur to dispose of I.A.No.2 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible.
6. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
