Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 22.11.2013 submitted by the petitioner and to pass appropriate orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, within a time to be stipulated by this Court. The prayer of the petitioner in the representation made to the respondents is for reconsideration of the upset price for the bar attached to the TASMAC Shop No.4170, by reducing the same. The license period for the bar attached to the TASMAC Shop was for the year 2013-14. Apparently, the license period has now expired and as such no effective order can be passed in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
