Respondents Prayer:

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to include the petitioner's nomination in the valid candidates' list and then only to proceed to conduct the election for the Board of Directors of the second respondent Society without rejecting the petitioner's nomination and by withdrawing the published present list of candidates.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that in response to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

direction given by this Court on 05.04.2018, election has been cancelled by order dated 06.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.1420/2018/T.nj.1 (19). 2.In view of cancellation of election to the Co-operative Society, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
