This writ petition has been filed for the issue of the writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 04.02.2020 and to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a Trust and is the owner of the property and steps are being taken by the respondent to acquire the said land. It is stated by the petitioner that the notice has been wrongly issued in the name of some other persons and the name of the petitioner was omitted. The petitioner had given a representation objecting to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the non inclusion of the name of the petitioner and also objecting to the acquisition proceedings. Since the representation was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
3. Heard Mr.R.N.Karthikeyan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent.
4. This Court has carefully considered the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 14.02.2020, strictly in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to state that before taking any decision, notice shall be issued to the other interested parties also.
6. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
