Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in the impugned proceedings in Na.Ka.No.13923/2011 daetd 27.10.2011 on the file of the first respondent rejecting the representation of the petitioner and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to promote the petitioner in the Tamil Nadu Municipal General Service transferring the petitioner from Tamil Nadu Public Health Service.

This matter was earlier listed before this Court on 27.11.2023 and 06.12.2023. On both the occasions, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, when the matter is listed under the caption "For Dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner either in the pre-lunch or post-lunch session. In such circumstances, this Court is left with no other alternative, but to dismiss the Writ Petition for non-prosecution.

2. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
